Milo’s Famous Tea

It’s That Good™

Milo's is one of the most popular sweet tea companies in the south with a cult-like following and crazy loyal fans. Unfortunately, people in other areas of the country don’t know they exist.

We decided to show the level of passion Milo’s lovers have for their tea and the lengths they will go to get it.

“EMPTY BOTTLES”

Video

We open on the exterior of a gas station.

VO: How good is Milo’s sweet tea?

FRANK walks out of a gas station opening up a Milo’s single serve he just bought. He sits down in his car and guzzles his Milo’s until it’s empty and throws the empty bottle behind him into the backseat. We pan behind him to see the entire backseat is so full of empty Milo’s bottles that you can’t even see the seats.

VO: That good.

The Milo’s logo appears over the scene.

SUPER: [Milo’s logo]

VO: Milo’s Sweet Tea. It’s that good.

We cut to a recycling center. Frank opens the backdoor of his parked car, and Milo’s bottles start pouring out. The recycling attendant’s eyes widen.

“Potluck”

Video

We open on the exterior of a suburban house with a lot of cars parked in the driveway and on the street in front of it.

VO: How good is Milo’s sweet tea?

ALICE opens her front door to greet JACK and KATHY who are holding a Milo’s jug and some cups. She smiles and welcomes them in the house and grabs the Milo’s from Jack.

ALICE: Great! We needed this.

We cut to the kitchen where we can hear and see people chatting and laughing. The kitchen island has 10 full Milo’s jugs sitting on it. Alice opens the fridge to reveal it completely loaded with more Milo’s inside. She adds the latest jug to the others.

VO: That good.

The Milo’s logo appears over the scene.

SUPER: [Milo’s logo]

VO: Milo’s Sweet Tea. It’s that good.

We cut back to the front door where Alice cheerfully opens the door to LAURA, holding a casserole dish. Alice flashes her a half smile as Laura hands her the casserole.

ALICE: (unenthusiastically) Oh, a casserole.

“THE LAST JUG”

Video

We open on the exterior of a grocery store.

VO: How good is Milo’s Sweet Tea?

Inside the cooler area of the grocery store, we see a close up of a Milo’s jug. Two hands reach for it at the same time and touch. TOM and MOLLY lock eyes for a second. We zoom out to see that this Milo’s jug is the only one left. Tom gives Molly a flirtatious smile. Molly gives a look of fierce determination back, strengthening her grip on the jug. Tom’s eyes widen with fear.

We cut to a few aisles over, where we can hear the sounds of a commotion, things breaking and people yelling. Two security guards run toward the noise as a mother and her child run quickly in the opposite direction.

VO: That good.

The Milo’s logo appears over the scene.

VO: Milo’s Sweet Tea. It’s that good.

We cut to a checkout counter. Molly stands proudly with her prized Milo’s jug. Standing a safe distance behind her, Tom defeatedly holds a jug of off-brand tea.
